James Yoxtheimer, MBA, SPHR, President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO);
Jim holds a Masters in Business Administration, and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources by the Society of Human Resources Management. He has been working with the Center since March 2010. During that time he has provided leadership in the areas of financial management, human resources and operations. Jim was hired as the CEO in September of 2015 and is responsible to the Governing Board of the health center and charged with providing leadership, overall direction and administration of the operations of the health center. Major accomplishments include development of the first known program and process for Lean HR implementation, authored or co-authored several white papers, manuals, workbooks and other learning tools. Jim has been both an active participant and facilitator with multiple strategic planning processes for community organizations and for-profit corporations. Jim wholeheartedly believes in employee engagement, and has developed management application models that have proven to be extremely effective.
Max Houseknecht, Jr, MBA, Chief Financial Officer;
Max has been with SCH&DC since November 2012. He became the CFO, with continued responsibility for IT systems in January, 2017. He previously oversaw SCH&DC’s facility expansion project. Max oversees the IT Support Specialist, working in conjunction to ensure all staff support needs are met; from a crashed clinician computer, x-ray equipment integration, etc. and is responsible to ensure all network components are well maintained to ensure proper functionality for an effective, secure, and efficient network. He is also responsible for all data reporting such as Meaningful Use, River Health Accountable Care Organization, annual UDS reports, and numerous other data measures as outlined by the Senior Management team. He supervises the billing Manager and staff to include the AP/Payroll assistant and ensures that all financial reporting and billing processes are adequately addressed. He brings leadership abilities and understands our mission and goals. Prior to joining the SCH&DC team, Max was employed in a large retail grocery store chain in a management role that included overseeing current and new technologies. He has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Accounting and Management Information Systems. In May 2019 he received his Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from FItchburg State University.
Christopher Coyner, DDS, Dental Director;
Dr. Coyner acquired his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington after finishing his undergraduate studies at Pacific Lutheran University. His professional associations include: American Dental Association, and Pennsylvania State Dental Association, and he is board certified by the NE Regional Dental Board. He has worked as a dentist for the past eighteen years and also operated his own practice. Dr. Coyner has been providing exceptional dental care at the Community Dental Center since 2007. Under his leadership, the dental clinic has become more efficient and seen many new patients. In February 2010, Dr. Coyner accepted the position of Dental Director, and works to increase access to dental services for Lycoming County residents.
Ralph Kaiser, M.D., Medical Director;
Dr. Ralph Kaiser is a practicing Board-Certified Pediatrician at Susquehanna Community Health and Dental Clinic, Inc., a Federally Qualified Health Center located in the City of Williamsport, Pennsylvania and serving all of Lycoming County. He also serves as Medical Director and Quality Director for the health center, and is a member of the Leadership Team. Dr. Kaiser is also the Pediatric Regional Education Coordinator for The Commonwealth Medical College and serves as a preceptor for TCMC, as well as numerous other health professions students and Family Practice residents. Dr. Kaiser is a graduate of Lycoming College and Temple University Medical School. He completed his Pediatric Residency at the Wilmington Medical Center, Delaware, and is certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Lycoming County Medical Society. Dr. Kaiser is in his 41st year of pediatric medicine. He received the 2013 Pennsylvania PCA’s annual APEX Award for Excellence in Primary Care.
Jacqueline Oliva, Grants and Human Resource Manager;
Jacqueline Olivia has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Healthcare Administration. She initially began as an intern with the CEO in 2013. She was then hired on full-time as the Executive Assistant. In 2015, she was promoted to the position of Grants and Human Resource Manager. This position is responsible for the on-boarding of new employees, benefit coordination, and staffing issues. The grants portion of the position ensures timely submissions, explores opportunities, and implements awarded applications.
Barbara Wool, MSN, RN, Clinical Operations Manager;
Barbara has been a nurse since 1993 and comes to us with a background that includes experience in patient centered care, staff development, cardiology, clinical IT, emergency nursing, and management. Most recently, she was a Nurse Practice Educator/Infection Control Coordinator. Her nursing management experience includes practice in daily management of staffing, operational direction, and management of quality initiatives.
