Jim Yoxtheimer, MBA, SPHR RVH&DC President & CEO (ex-officio)
Dr. John Boll | Chair
Dr. John Boll is currently Assistant Director of the Williamsport Family Medical Residency Program. Dr. Boll completed his undergraduate education at Messiah College. He received his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and subsequently completed family medicine residency in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He first learned about the Community Health Center model while volunteering at Esperanza Health Center in Philadelphia in 1993 where he was trained as a Medical Assistant. Incidentally, he met his wife Jennifer at Esperanza where she was the Administrative Assistant. He resides in the area with Jennifer and has five children: Lora, Ellen, Rachel, Andrew, and Joshua. Prior to his present position, Dr. Boll worked for 10 years at Dayspring Family Health Center in Jellico, Tennessee, a faith-based Community Health Center (FQHC) that was made up of three clinics (Clearfolk Clinic, Indian Mountain Clinic, and Cumberland River Clinic). This health center was located in a very rural, underserved community. While there, Dr. Boll served as Medical Director of the Clearfork Clinic. He believes community health centers are an excellent model for providing care to patients regardless of their insurance status. Dr. Boll understands the Community Health Center model and has a great interest to serve on the Board of Directors.
Abigail Eschbach | Vice-Chair
Abigail Eschbach joined the Board in May, 2017. She is currently employed by the Central PA Food Bank as the Agency Services Coordinator, where she facilitates nutrition education programs and works with partnering agencies to maintain quality standards and help their programs grow. She has a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a minor in Marketing from LaRoche College where she completed a focused major in Public Relations & Event Planning. She is also an ACE Certified Health Coach, a nationally accredited program, which she has held for 7 years and that requires renewal credits every two years.
Dorothy Hilliard | Treasurer
Dorothy Hilliard works for the Municipal & School Earned Income Tax Office as a Tax Examiner. She was born and raised in Williamsport and after being gone for over twenty-three years she returned and became a resident of Montoursville. She is the mother of two sons. Dorothy holds an ASB Degree in Accounting from Central Pennsylvania Business College; a Bachelors of Technology Management from the Pennsylvania College of Technology; and an MBA from Bloomsburg University.
Barbara Barbus | Secretary
Barbara Barbus is a retired public school teacher who taught secondary English. She graduated from Lycoming College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She is also an auditor for Lycoming Township. Her volunteer commitments include being an auditor for St. Michael Lutheran Church and a Sunday School Teacher. Barbara is a consumer at River Valley Health and Dental Center and believes that the Williamsport area needs an affordable clinic that can care for a significant percentage of the area’s population. She would like to be a part of this goal and make positive suggestions, improvements, and enable its continued growth.
Shantay Hall has been employed with Community Services Group since 2002, and is currently a Direct Support Assistant, where she assists individuals within the IDD/mental health community in the home and in the community. She has also had the roles of community integration specialist, case manager and therapist. She received her Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Lock Haven University in 2004. She is considering returning to school for a health professions degree. Shantay is interested in joining the SCH&DC Board of Directors because it will allow her to be actively supporting our community’s needs. She feels comfortable contributing her experience in and perspectives of the area of mental health because of over ten years of experience doing so. She also has experience volunteering in her children’s schools and offers her experience as an active parent to the board. Shantay is a consumer of health center services, and has been using health center services for fifteen years. She is an advocate for the health center, her family, and her community.
Tom Zimmerman has been a Psychology faculty member at the Pennsylvania College of Technology from 1984 to the present. He has also held clinical positions as a US Navy Reserve psychologist and as a civilian with Divine Providence Hospital, Tressler Lutheran Service Associates (now Diakon Family Life Services), and consultant to intermediate care facilities serving mentally handicapped individuals. He has had extensive Board of Directors experience with several organizations including the Pennsylvania School Boards Association, Susquehanna Regional Home Health Services, Williamsport Area School District, including service as Vice President, and the local American Red Cross Chapter. He has also served on allocation panels and the Board of Directors for the Lycoming County United Way. In addition, he has served as an American Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Volunteer. He resides in Williamsport. Tom believes in the mission of River Valley Health and Dental Center, and would like to help us succeed. His areas of expertise and contribution are strong writing skills, a long history of board service, community networking and shared decision-making. He understands the governance role of boards.
Dwight "Rick" Wyatt
Dwight (Rick) Wyatt is a Senior Pastor of Laborers for Christ Ministry. Rick was also a director of City Youth and Development with the Williamsport Lycoming County Crime Commission. He was founder and President of The Voice of United Citizens of Williamsport. He helps churches start up in the community and assists in finding locations. Rick also teaches music ministries in churches to adults and youth. He preaches wherever he is asked. He and his wife sing at numerous churches throughout Williamsport as well as in other Pennsylvania Cities. Rick feels his sincere concerns can be a vital asset to the Board of Directors because he is a SCH&DC consumer and has a personal attachment with the healthcare system.
Kim has been employed with The Muncy Bank and Trust Company since 2006 and is currently the VP/Community Retail Manager. She oversees the bank's seven community offices and is also responsible for facilities management. Kim received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare from Bloomsburg University and graduated from the PBA School of Banking with honors in 2015. She is a 2017 graduate of Leadership Lycoming. Kim's community commitments include Lycoming County United Way, where she serves as a Campaign Ambassador, and sits on the Funds Allocation Panel. She serves as a Board of Director for the American Red Cross, North Central PA Chapter. Kim was the past Chair for the Muncy's Fourth Friday events, and was on the executive committee for the Muncy Business & Professional Association, and the Parent Teacher Student Association. She has also participated in numerous bank related volunteer opportunities within her community as well as her children's school district. Kim has facilitated programs and activities within the bank that has encouraged career development and succession planning, including an employee development program focusing on leadership. She has been responsible for implementing educational programs within six area school districts and has coordinated bank events, marketing, public relation efforts, and hiring. Kim is a consumer member and resides in Muncy with her husband and three children.
Adanma Akujieze is currently employed by Larson Design Group as the Chief Financial Officer. Adamna and the team she leads will provide transactional support to LDG's project teams as well as decision support for the firm's strategic initiatives. Adanma had previously worked for Weis Markets in Sunbury as Director of Corporate Accounting and Compliance, a role she transitioned into after serving as Weis Markets' Chief Internal Auditor for 5 years. She earned her M.S. and B.A. in Accounting at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, and holds several professional certifications--Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
Adanma is an active member of her community. She is a board member for Snyder, Union, Mifflin Child Development, Inc., where she serves as board Vice President as well as audit, finance, and human resources committee member. Adanma is also a member of several professional organizations including the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) where she serves as a Council member and a board member of the CPA Foundation.
Adanma makes her home in Selinsgrove with her husband and two children. Together, they delight in their relationship with Jesus Christ, the cornerstone of their lives.
Jean has been employed with STEP, Inc. since 1991 and is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer. As CHRO, Jean initiates and leads practices and objectives that will develop an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes continuous improvement, quality, productivity, standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
Jean received her Bachelor's Degree in Management Science from Lock Haven University. Jean is also a board member of West Branch Human Resources Society, serving as treasurer.
Lori Beucler, MSN, RN, BC-NE, FACHE is Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer of UPMC Susquehanna. She has thirty-nine years of healthcare experience with 30 years in nursing administration. Ms. Beucler holds executive oversight of the following service lines: Nursing Services for the UPMC Susquehanna Hub consisting of seven Hospitals. Additionally Ms. Beucler is responsible for the following Service Lines: Endoscopy, Surgical Services, Anesthesia, Emergency Services, Inpatient Pharmacy, and Infection Control. She has been a past recipient to two IHI awards for outstanding clinical process improvement; published in several journal articles; and has presented nationally, including HIMSS in spring 2015. She is a board certified nurse executive with Masters in Nursing Management from The Western Connecticut State University, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, and completed the Wharton Executive Nursing Leadership Program. She is a Board Certified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and an active member of the Pennsylvania Organization of Nurse Leaders, American Operating Nurses, and American Orginazation of Nurse Executives. Ms. Beucler sits on several Nursing Advisory Boards including Pennsylvania College of Technology, Bloomsburg University, Lock Haven University, as well as the Mansfield and Misericordia Universities. Ms. Beucler is a recipient of the Susquehanna Health Distinguished Servant leader award.
Christopher Ebner was born and raised in Muncy, PA. He currently resides there with his wife Michele. He has three children Courtney, Skylar and Katherine all of whom attended Muncy High School. Chris is the Deputy Warden of Inmate Services for Lycoming County Prison and has held this position since 2014. Chris started his professional career in criminal justice in 1991 as Resident Supervisor for Lycoming County Pre-Release Center. Throughout the years he held additional jobs for Lycoming County including Adult Probation Officer and Bail/Release Program Manager. Chris has a BSD in Criminal Justice from Mansfield University and has completed Magisterial District Justice School. Chris is Chairman of the CJAB Mental Health Sub Committee and a member of Lycoming County’s Hostage Negotiation Team, Drug Court Committee and various other sub committees. Beyond holding several member positions in his professional life, Chris is extremely active in his community. He is the current Auditor for Muncy Creek Township, Board Member for both the Muncy Athletic Hall of Fame and Muncy Community Action Program and is a member of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Health). In addition, Chris has coached Little League teams, was the Head Coach for Muncy Softball and currently volunteers as a Clock Operator for Muncy School Athletics.
