River Valley Health and Dental Center has achieved NCQA's Patient Centered Medical Home Level 3 Accreditation
River Valley Health and Center Center's Board of Directors is made up of thirteen members, all who come from different backgrounds including social services, community affairs, finance, education, business, and healthcare. Seven of the thirteen members are patients of the center. Our full Board meets on the fourth Monday of every month at the center. The Board has five standing committees that meet regularly. The full Board of Directors discusses all aspects of the organization including financial, operational and clinical performance measures. Written information containing patient satisfaction, organizational performance, and financials is provided monthly through a variety of sources and discussed at each meeting. An organizational dashboard is provided every month which includes financial indicators, operational indicators, clinical measures, and workforce indicators.
The standing committees of the Board with their purpose are detailed as follows:
Executive Committee provides guidance to the SCH&DC CEO in implementing Board strategic directions and assists the Board in preparation for monthly meetings insuring appropriate governance activities of the Full Board;
Finance & Audit Committee provides assistance to the Board in fulfilling its fiduciary responsibilities, including the completion of the annual audit;
Personnel & Nominating Committee facilitates the selection, nomination and election process of Board Members, and provides assistance to the Board in fulfilling HR-related responsibilities;
Public Relations, Marketing, & Fundraising Committee assists the Board in guiding the CEO in areas of public relations, marketing, and fundraising responsibilities.
